Before Jesus gave the “great commission”, He gave His “first commission”…“go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel”. (Matthew 10:6)
The Church has mostly ignored this commission and given themselves to the great commission. One of the reasons is that we have not known who these lost sheep are and have largely assumed that they are also the unsaved. No, they are “sheep” and must be reached, but who are they? What do they look like and sound like? How can we identify them? What do they need? How do we reach them?
This flock of lost sheep is growing rapidly, therefore we should feel an urgency to reach them. Listening to this message will challenge you to join those who are reaching these lost sheep.
