We’ve got to come to the point where we no longer look at this word, “wasted”, as a negative thing. Looking at the accounts in the four gospels, we find the example of the woman who “wasted” the extravagant perfume upon Jesus was an indicator to us of the cost and selflessness involved in TRUE worship. As we are on the path to His throneroom in worship, we must learn how to completely abandon ourselves in whatever aspect we have been called to. Can we go a little further in our singing, dancing, gesturing? Just how expressive can we be?
