A DIFFERENT DOCTRINE

“If anyone advocates a different doctrine and does not agree with sound words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, and with the doctrine conforming to godliness, he is conceited and understands nothing; but he has a morbid interest in controversial questions and disputes about words, out of which arise envy, strife, abusive language, evil suspicions” (1Tim. 6:3-4)

And it is important to know that preaching a different gospel brings a curse as we see in Galatians 1:8-9,”But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed! As we have said before, so I say again now, if any man is preaching to you a gospel contrary to what you received, he is to be accursed! “

I have been personally attacked, lied about, and criticized because when I see and hear false doctrine preached and taught in the church, I point it out. I have been told “you don’t love the brethren” and “you need to have a heart for unity” among other things.

No one has more of a heart for unity than I, but I cannot be silent when the Word of God is compromised. I have also been counseled to be quiet and trust God to take care of these “false ministers”.

History proves to us that every time God restores a truth to the church, the devil comes along and counterfeits it. Jesus said that the first thing we should look for in the end times is deception. We now live in a day when we don’t know who we can trust to be telling the truth. Every which way we turn we find deception and fake news. The only way we can survive to preach the Kingdom is to be seekers of the truth.

It is amazing the number of well meaning Christians who find the defense of the faith just too embarrassing and negative for them to even try. . . . they say, “it’s too unloving, who are we to judge”. So they stand by and let a lie become the norm because they will not speak out with a defense for the doctrines and purity of our faith.

Jude 3 tells us “Beloved, while I was making every effort to write you about our common salvation, I felt the necessity to write to you appealing that you contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all handed down to the saints.

Jude 4 says, “For certain persons have crept in unnoticed, those who were long beforehand marked out for this condemnation, ungodly persons who turn the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.” and Paul said in Philippians 1:7,  ‘For it is only right for me to feel this way about you all, because I have you in my heart, since both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you all are partakers of grace with me.” and in 2 Timothy 4:1-2 “I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom:  preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction.”

Jesus called the religious leaders of His day “a brood of vipers”, yes He called them a bunch of snakes, then He called them “hypocrites”

Apostle Paul addressed a man called Elymas in Acts 13:9-10, who was attempting to draw people from the faith,  “But Saul, who was also known as Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, fixed his gaze on him, and said, “You who are full of all deceit and fraud, you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease to make crooked the straight ways of the Lord? “

We are warned:

“But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons,

by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron,” (1Tim. 4:1-2)

THERE ARE MANY, MANY OTHER EXAMPLES OF THIS IN SCRIPTURE AND WE HAVE BUT TO SEARCH THE WORD TO SEE.

So, are we to be silent or is it ok with God for us to speak and call out the error?  I personally believe the restoration of the apostolic and prophetic offices were prophesied by Isaiah in Isaiah 1:26,  “Then I will restore your judges as at the first, And your counselors as at the beginning; After that you will be called the city of righteousness, A faithful city.”

The true apostolic reformation began in 1990, and the false began in 2000 and it is being called “The New Apostolic Reformation”. At this time, the false is getting more attention and support than the true which is also a historically true pattern.

THERE IS ONLY ONE KINGDOM IN THE BIBLE, THERE IS ONLY ONE CHURCH IN THE BIBLE, THERE IS ONLY ONE GOSPEL IN THE BIBLE. WE FOLLOW CHRIST AND NOT MAN. THE CHURCH FOLLOWS THE TEACHINGS (DOCTRINE) OF CHRIST AND NOT THE KINGDOM OF MAN’S RELIGION. THE TRUE APOSTOLIC REFORMATION FOLLOWS THE APOSTLES DOCTRINE (TEACHING) AS DID THE EARLY CHURCH. (Acts 2:42)

Never get bored with the old ways, for we learn from the Word:

Thus says the LORD,

“Stand by the ways and see and ask for the ancient paths,

Where the good way is, and walk in it;

And you will find rest for your souls.

But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’  (Jeremiah 6.16)
